Gorsko zrcalo

Popular climbing site of the Zagreb climbers. In the 60´s it was practice ground for speleologists and alpinists. The first attempts of free climbing were on the roof. Its name reveals the strenuous efforts made in this project. And yet the 20 m plate is the characteristic of this climbing site. Strangely enough, the rock was arranged for sport climbing only in 1991. A few rock routes can be quite enjoyable for a climbing addict who finds himself in Zagreb as well as for the sightseeing prone visitor who wants to keep fit.

Limestone, slate. Looks like granite. Climbing is almost impossible when its wet. The routes are protected with 14 mm bolts
