A long time ago there was a quarry here and its rocks were used to build some places in Venice. The rocks are situated at very end of the cape, some 20 meters from the sea. One can have a wonderful view of Rovinj and nearby islands and can really enjoy climbing in this area. The place is also convenient for climbing courses and family outings. One can go jogging or riding a bike in the park and sea can be an ideal way of refreshing in the summer.

Rovinj is a well known seaside resort with numerous hotels and camps in and outside the town. Possibility of private accommodation. Wild camping is not allowed inside the park but one can find his shelter in the vicinity of the rock.
Rovinj is, a well known as the whole region of Istria, known for its historical and cultural sights which date from antique, late antique and medieval era. Pula, which is not far from Rovinj, is famous for its amphitheater, and Porec is famous for the Eufrazijeva basilica. Don't forget to visit Limski canal (oysters!).
