Dvigrad

A little surprise in the middle of Istria. Another discovery of mysterious Manolo. Wonderful scenery, vicinity of medieval castle of Dvigrad, not far from the sea, excellent quality of rock. More than enough to visit this interesting area!

Optimal season

Autumn, winter, spring. Very hot in summer.

Geographical setting

Istria in the vicinity of Kanfanar, some 20 km far from the coast and from the sea side of Rovinj.

Accommodation

Meadow near the castle or go to the Rovinj .

Rock, Routes

Very compact grey lime-stone of excellent quality. The routes are to be found on the overhanging slabs, very well protected.
